This Wacky Wednesday post features 1959 Gulfcoast and World Championship duck caller James Fernandez demonstrating what made him a champion and hero to all. That’s right he will teach you how to call ducks like a pro.

I got this record in Gulfport, Mississippi earlier this decade at a thrift store that is no longer in business (Americas Thrift Store). When I saw the 45 (picture will be up soon) I knew I had to have it, it was too strange to pass up. In fact I was able to get two copies from the same place (although on different days) so if someone wants a copy just leave a comment and I’ll contact you and mail it to you (US residents only). The track I’m sharing is actually the B Side the A side a different one called “Championship Calls”. Also this record is in mono.
