American Teaching Aids “Our Dinosaur Friends”
For this weeks Wacky Wednesday song I turn to a teaching record. This was made by the American Teaching Aids company which as far as I know is no longer in business. On the back of the record sleeve is the lyrics to all the songs so I included them in this mp3 and since I think no one is making money off this record anymore (besides the thrift store I bought it from for a dollar years ago) you can download this song.
There was demand from enough people I recorded the entire record, you can now get the full album here. Feel free to leave a comment if you or your kids like the record.

You’re never gonna believe this but my 5 yr old just walked into the room and went nuts for this song. Can you rip the whole thing? Do they all sound similar?

Hey Joe. The first few songs are about one dinosaur each, then the song I posted then a narration track and on the B Side is instrumentals for the songs. sure ill rip the rest, you gotta help out the kids right. Will rip the record in the next few days and throw the link up in the comments so keep an eye out.

Thanks Charlie. The kids love this thing. I don’t think I can say the same for the girls running the day care. The copy I took with him supposedly got played three times throughout the day. Twice back to back. Thanks to you a new generation of kids will be humming these for years…unless the cd gets smashed.

Great clip. I would love to have a copy of the whole album. It was a mainstay in my son’s childhood some 25 years ago. Emailed him a clip of the T-Rex song…… know what he was humming all day.
