About charlie bucket: I started writing hip hop reviews for All Music Guide around 9 or 10 years ago. From there I started writing for a variety of magazines including Pound, Elemental, Stealth, Vice, Tablist, Ghetto Blaster, and Impose among others as well as urbansmarts.com and hiphopsite.com. When I first started I was just doing reviews but as time went on i got burned out on reviews and mainly did interviews. If you want to pay me to write for you feel free to contact me.
Musically when I was growing up I only listened to hip hop but as i got older i have expanded my tastes greatly. I’m pretty open minded but for the most part but I prefer faster stuff to slower stuff (although am a big fan of gospel which is normally pretty slow).
I’m also a film school graduate and have worked in various positions in the entertainment industry from working at music video and commercial companies to working on indie features.
I’ve spent most of this decade in Los Angeles (Echo Park) but recently moved to Austin.

Greetings from England!
Hip Hop was my first love too. I’d be very interested to learn what sort of “faster stuff” is floating your boat now.

Ah I think ill have to get back to you. Im selling some of my records, mainly library, so been going through them to see which ones i should take the time to record to mp3. So a lot of my time has been wrapped up in that.
