In my last post I shared the work of Apple Juice Kid this is another album he had a hand in and another good Free Album Friday post. The Remix Project Mixtape features musicians playing instrumental covers of various hiphop songs. It works really well they add enough flavor to it but while staying close to the original. Most songs are pretty short and flow seamlessly from one to another. They cover artists like Outkast, A Tribe Called Quest, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg and much more. Below is their cover of the Scarface song “On My Block”.
